Bjørnafjorden Hotell

Bjørnafjorden Hotell is located in Os, a 30 minute drive south of Bergen.

The Hotell has 30 bedrooms in addition to meeting facilities, party venues, sitting room with a small charming bar and a lovely restaurant. The farmstead was once owned by the Lyse Monastery (Lysekloster) which was established in 1146. The stead contains five houses, a large garden that brings us lots of fruits and berrys, and the view over the fjord is simply breathtaking. Directly next to the reception you will discover a local Viking grave.

The hotel sit atop a large garden, a few hundred meters in the hills above the majestic Bjørnafjorden (Bear fjord). From the stead you can see across to Folgefonna (one of Norway’s largest glaciers), Rosendal and the Tysnes mountains.

We offer conference facilities for 6-80 persons, and can also host weddings, anniversaries and others celebrations.

We look forward to welcome you in beautiful surroundings by the fjord.
