Florø Rorbu offers rooms and apartments for tourists and visitors looking for economy lodging in Norway’s westernmost town, Florø. The rorbu (meaning fishermans cottage) is situated in an idyllic, south facing setting at the water’s edge, near the Furuholmen harbour in Krokane. Our guests enjoy a beautiful view from the rorbu window, veranda or the pier, accompanied by tasty food and drinks.
At Florø Rorbu we operate a total of 15 different apartments, with one or two bedrooms, each and everyone equipped with a full bathroom and shower. Each apartment holds a kitchen with utensils and tableware for basic self service meals and cooking. We offer two different kinds of comfortable bedrooms; one master bedroom with a double bed, and one with a bunk bed primarily for younger guests. All bedrooms are equipped with pillows and duvets. Bed linen can be rented with us if you don’t bring your own sets.
Most apartments offer a small patio or an elevated balcony, and all livingrooms are equipped with a TV-set offering a variety of channels through satellite antenna or cable connection.
At Florø Rorbu we take pride in a maritime profile and identity. All 15 modern apartments are individually named with reference to the long maritime and seafaring traditions typical for the region. In the reception area you will find shared laundry facilities consisting of washers, dryers and clothes iron, all to accommodate your every need during your stay. At or near your own rorbu you will find a freezer, a designated outdoor zone for gutting fish, a floating pier and a small store selling a variety of fishing equipment.
